Of course there was nothing there. Something was certainly messing with him and trying to make him feel claustrophobic. It didn't help that he was having a bit of difficulty breathing as he moves down the hall, swatting around himself with the nails and ignoring the nicks he was giving himself.

"Ever heard... about curiosity?" He asked before hearing the shriek. "...You really know how to make a guy feel welcomed."

That last comment was sarcastic as he decides to use his shadow mimicry. It would make traveling easier -- hopefully.
